Financial Aid Application Timeline and Priority Dates
Students are encouraged to submit all required financial aid applications and documentation as early as possible. Meeting a priority date helps ensure that a student receives timely consideration for available aid; however, a priority date does not guarantee that a student will receive financial assistance.
Annual Financial Aid Application Cycle
| October 1 | FAFSA becomes available for the upcoming academic year, subject to federal release dates. | |
| °¿³¦³Ù´Ç²ú±ð°ù–D±ð³¦±ð³¾²ú±ð°ù | Students should create or update their Federal Student Aid account, complete the FAFSA, and submit any required institutional financial aid applications. | |
| ´³²¹²Ô³Ü²¹°ù²â–F±ð²ú°ù³Ü²¹°ù²â | Priority application period. Students should ensure that the FAFSA and any required documents have been submitted and are complete. | |
| ¹ó±ð²ú°ù³Ü²¹°ù²â–A±è°ù¾±±ô | Financial Aid Office reviews applications, resolves outstanding requirements, and begins awarding eligible students. | |
| ²Ñ²¹°ù³¦³ó–M²¹²â | Financial aid offers are communicated to eligible students. Students should review and accept/decline applicable awards. | |
| ²Ñ²¹²â–J³Ü±ô²â | Students complete outstanding requirements, loan requirements, verification, and other requested documentation. | |
| ´³³Ü±ô²â–A³Ü²µ³Ü²õ³Ù | Final aid processing and preparation for disbursement. | |
| Beginning of each term | Eligible financial aid is disbursed after enrollment, and other eligibility requirements have been confirmed. | |
ºÚÁÏ꿉۪s Institutional priority date: February 1.
Students who submit their applications by the priority date will receive priority consideration for available institutional grants, scholarships, work-study, and other limited funds, subject to eligibility requirements and availability of funds.
Applications submitted after the priority date will continue to be reviewed, provided the student remains eligible and the applicable federal, state, institutional, or program deadline has not passed. Please note that some types of financial aid may be limited or unavailable after the priority date.
Student-Specific Priority Dates
ºÚÁÏ꿉۪s priority dates for different student populations:
- First-year undergraduate students:Â February 1
- Transfer students:Â March 1
- Returning undergraduate students:Â February 1
- Graduate students:Â April 1

Students applying for institutional scholarships are encouraged to speak to the financial aid advisors for options and available scholarships as ºÚÁÏÍø may establish earlier deadlines for programs with limited funding or additional application requirements.
Required Documentation
Students are responsible for submitting all required documentation by the applicable deadline. Depending on the student’s circumstances, required documentation may include:
- FAFSA or applicable federal/state financial aid application
- Institutional financial aid application
- Tax or income documentation
- Verification documents
- Proof of citizenship or eligible noncitizen status
- Academic transcripts
- Scholarship applications
- Loan counseling or loan agreements

- Applications requiring verification, corrections, professional judgment, or additional documentation may require additional processing time.
- Students are responsible for monitoring their institutional email, student portal, and financial aid checklist for outstanding requirements.
Financial Aid Offers
Financial aid offers will be issued after the student’s eligibility has been determined and the application is complete.
The timing of financial aid offers may vary based on:
- Date the student submits the application
- Admission status
- Enrollment status
- Completion of required documentation
- Verification requirements
- Availability of institutional funds
- Federal and state processing timelines
Students should carefully review their financial aid offer and complete all required acceptance steps by the date specified in the offer.

However, students who apply after the priority date may have reduced access to limited funds, including institutional grants, scholarships, and work-study.
